Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara Issues Request for Proposals (RFP) for Children’s Waiting Room Services

SAN JOSÉ, California (October 30, 2024) The Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, announces the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP 102424C) for professional child-care services in its Children’s Waiting Rooms located at the Family Justice Center Courthouse and the Morgan Hill Courthouse. The Court invites qualified providers to submit proposals to offer safe, reliable, and engaging child-care services for children whose family members or guardians are attending court proceedings.

Proposal Submission Deadline: November 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time

The selected provider will be expected to manage an all-inclusive child-care program, covering all operational costs. This 12-month contract, scheduled to commence on January 2, 2025, includes the possibility of three one-year renewals based on performance and mutual agreement.

The Children’s Waiting Room offers essential support to court visitors by providing a secure environment where children can remain safely occupied. This RFP reflects the Court's commitment to providing high-quality child-care services that align with California's legal and regulatory standards.
