Juror Appreciation Week Celebrates Those Who Serve in Santa Clara County Courts
SAN JOSÉ, California (May 12, 2024) : The Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara proudly joins the nation in celebrating Juror Appreciation Week, a significant occasion dedicated to recognizing the invaluable contributions of jurors who serve in courts across the country. From May 12-17, 2024, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the millions of Americans who fulfill their civic duty by participating in the jury process.
Every year, thousands of residents of Santa Clara County heed the call to jury duty, embodying the principles of democracy and justice as they engage in the important task of ensuring fair trials within our courts. Jurors, ordinary people from diverse backgrounds, are entrusted with the responsibility of making decisions that profoundly impact the lives and well-being of individuals and communities.
