1. How do I get my bail money back?

   The bail refund will be mailed to the depositor (the person who deposited the money with the Court).

2. How long will it take?

   The bail refund will be mailed within 30 business days after the disposition of the case, or 30 business days after the order of exoneration.

3. Who will get the money refunded?

   The bail refund will be mailed to the depositor (the person who deposited the money with the Court). The depositor is the person who signed the personal check, money order, or cashier’s check to post bail.

4. What if I have a change of address?

   When you come to court, tell the Judge, Deputy, or Clerk about your new address. Or, send a letter to the court and give them your new address.

5. What if I posted a property bond instead of cash bail?

   The Court will exonerate the bond. This means, the Court will release any claim to the property that was posted as bond.
