Civil & Probate Tentative Rulings
Prior to the scheduled hearing of a Law and Motion, Complex Civil Litigation, or a Discovery matter, the Court may issue a tentative ruling.
The tentative ruling becomes the order of the court and no hearing is held unless one of the parties contests the tentative by complying with the Rules of Court and Civil Local Rule 8E or Probate Local Rule 2A .
Tentative rulings for certain departments are available this website, on the pages linked below. Click on the Judge's name below for more details. Note: the following departments are the only ones posting tentative rulings at this time.
Tentative rulings will be accessible on the Department pages linked below, after 2:00 p.m. on the court day preceding the scheduled hearing.
NOTICE: Effective June 10, 2024, all matters previously assigned to Judge Manoukian (Department 20) for case management have been reassigned to Judge Shella Deen and will be heard in Department 18b.
