Global Microsoft Outage Impacts Santa Clara County Superior Court Operations

SAN JOSÉ, California (July 19, 2024) :  Due to the global Microsoft Windows outage, t he Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, is experiencing disruptions to desktop devices across all courthouses. Our Information Technology (IT) team has been working tirelessly overnight to restore our network and systems. 

In response to this outage, our IT department is actively deploying technicians to each courthouse. We are prioritizing courtrooms with morning calendars, ensuring the continuous operation of safety and security-related equipment, and maintaining service at Clerk’s Office public service windows. These steps are essential to minimize disruptions and ensure that critical court functions continue smoothly.
